Friday Green Line commute now fried due to a trolley at Copley that died
By adamg on Fri, 04/07/2017 - 5:28pm
The T reports "moderate" delays on the Green Line due to a deceased trolley at Copley Square.
UPDATE: The T now reports "severe" delays, says the flatlined trolley is at Boylston. Unclear if it's a different one or they managed to get the Copley one running just long enough to move the problem a station down.

Upgraded to "Severe"
Now reporting "severe" delays, an acquaintance at Park Street Station reports it is mobbed, no trains or ETA.

From Christine:
Need a poem to cheer us up, green line delays mean we'll miss our sup
40 minutes to go two stops
Jared reports it just took him 40 minutes to get from Kenmore to Copley.
No outbound trains
Only inbound at Copley
They were displaying/talking about moderate delays
due to a signal problem at Copley when I entered Boylston Station about 3:10. This was evidenced by the amount of time (appx 8 minutes) it took for the next Lechmere train to arrive (at 3:10, the next Lechmere train usually arrives within 1 or 2 minutes).
Obviously, things went downhill from there.
Give the T some credit …
They coaxed the dead train two stations! (The magic number, however, was three, onto the fence track at Park.)
