Mike reports a packed beach at M Street in South Boston today.
Jordan Frias reports a packed Toscanini's in Cambridge:
Past Blue Ribbon. All the bros and beckys have not been told that public drinking is illegal and shame on the Staties for not enforcing it.
But if you look again, you'll see two photos: One shows the beach and one shows a Cambridge ice-cream place. That's how I came up with beach-and-ice-cream-day.
Don't be blatant, obnoxious, nor obviously underage and the Staties will leave you alone. Works for me.
Also noticed everyone is being wicked smaht and using plastic. No one want to stumble on a half buried bottle.
Anyways, let's take time to thank the MWRA, the Conservation Law Foundation, and a bunch of other people.
We now have pristine beaches just minuets from downtown, a seaport district companies want to move to, and the Charles River As a central jewel.
Timmy, cover your innocent eyes immediately, I don't want you to see that man over there drinking the Devils brew.

'Past Blue Ribbon'...anyway, maybe M st. is in Boston, so beach might be Boston cops. I dunno, not sure about jurisdiction.
Maybe it's time to kill the anons?
I spend most of my time at the Irish Riviera when I'm not in Florida or Maine.
Therefore, the Massachusetts State Police has jurisdiction. They also have the jurisdiction on Day Boulevard, so it's not until you hit Columbia Road that the BPD would get involved.
Down at Revere Beach sittin on a wall
Me and my friends is drinkin PBR talls
My other hand is empty so I tug on my balls ...
[WBCN skit, late '80s, before any millennial was even born]
I remember that. Yes, PBR ... nothing new about drinking PBR at the beach.
