Hey, how come none of you guys told me about the free bus rides up to New Hampshire on Election Day?

Man, you think you know who your friends are. Election Day was so nice, I wasn't busy, and I could've done with a day trip. Let me know next time, 'kay?

Let's see, any other Boston-related Prevaricator-in-Chief news? Oh, yeah, here's a story: Trump adviser who claimed to be an expert witness in Boston bombing trial never actually testified.

If there had been any evidence of irregularity in the New Hampshire race for US Senate, surely Kelly Ayotte would have taken advantage of her legal right to a recount. Instead, she conceded to Maggie Hassan.

UNH students have been voting in two states for years. NH's residency requirements for registering to vote are a joke.

But in any case, that's not the issue here. The Yam has, once again, lied and said people from Massachusetts were bused up to New Hampshire on Election Day. They were not.

I think they are called "commuters".

They work in Massachusetts.

They live in New Hampshire.

They vote in New Hampshire.

They're propaganda. You'll have to do better than that.

Has anyone gotten their protest checks from Soros Co. yet?

I just did and my deductions are all messed up. And to top it off, my local Soros Squad Captain said it's a payroll company issue and not an internal problem.

Anyone have the right number to call to sort this out?

Thanks in advance!

I know... I'm still waiting for mine. Mine's extra since I did photography so I charge my professional billing rates!

Let me know if you figure this out. I want to make sure they have my direct deposit information correct. It should have been deposited a week or so ago. And I should get TWO deposits, one for each protest.

Not sure what local that you are in, but it should be listed on your Professional Anarchists Union card. The business agent should be able to track that down for you.

I voted in Boston, Alaska, and Hawaii all on the same day, Yes I waited in line, voted, went to the next state and voted.

I did all my fraud voting by absentee ballot, in the comfort of my own home, using IDS of victims of the Bowling Green Massacre.

to get out the vote, not to vote in NH. I know several people who went there to electioneer, help get people to polls, etc. to help Hassan as well as Clinton. Nothing at all illegal about that.

up
Voting closed 0

Yeah I got a lot of emails from Move On to get on a bus and go to NH and electioneer in the days leading up to the election. The cynic in me thought "Oh, they must be doing a dry run for voting fraud!" Not surprised at all to see others making this accusation.

Many more votes for the buck if each canvasser can mobilize three or four local voters who are registered but wouldn't have bothered.

If you click the link on that post it goes to a form which has the question "Which of the following do you wat to do on election day?" First box is "Canvass in New Hampshire (Depart 9:45am, Return 5:30pm)"

3) Wellesley Students for Hillary also did GOTV in NH on election day.

I expect the goal post will move now. Someone else reply to that guy on twitter and try to collect the money.

You really don't know the difference between "canvassing" and "voting"?

Sorry, I know you don't want the money, but still, no reward for you..

Didn't say it was nefarious. The tweet from that guy wasn't asking for that.

...and we didn't go to ANY polling places-- we door knocked for the Get Out The Vote effort.

I can't believe he said that.

OK I do believe he did.. nor am I really shocked. He's just grasping at straws now. He really is becoming, if not already, the laughing stock of the world right now.

Dude's not sane at all. Really. He's got some weird obsession with illegal voters. Seriously guy, YOU WON. WHY ARE YOU FIGHTING THIS? YOU WON. (Yes I know, he's doing to garner support for Voter ID and voter suppression.. but still irritated he's even going there because HE WON)

When is the impeachment gonna start? He's just unfit to be president. #JITMFA

The impeachment will start when the hot flames from the burning stupid begin lapping at the rear ends of his congressional supporters.

Which may be why they are pulling this crap - they may only be able to win by cheating.

Looks like some are already feeling the heat, if that Utah town hall is any indication.

Trump has been making it all up for years. He's a successful businessman - in his own mind. Most notable for being the star of a "reality" TV show, which like almost all of them was completely made up. He has enough money to surround himself with people who tell him "Yes, Mr. Trump, you are a great businessman, and you do have terrific taste, and of course you understand the world better than anyone else because you're rich." His one true talent is self-promotion, and unfortunately, a large chunk of the electorate stupidly decided to humor his delusions. How stupidly? They weren't even paid to do it.

FOX Undercover: Former residents casting Boston ballots
http://www.fox25boston.com/news/fox-undercover-former-residents-casting-...

Another Boston voter isn't afraid to admit he doesn't live in the city. Richard O'Mara, the well-known owner of Cedar Grove Gardens in Dorchester, is registered to vote using his business address. But he has actually lived in Brockton since 2012.

"My identity is as a Bostonian. I spend more waking hours in the city of Boston than I do elsewhere. To tell me I can't vote, to me seems a little bit ridiculous," he said.

You think it's impossible similar things happen across state lines?

up
Voting closed 0

Yes.

Please show me where in Massachusetts these thousands of disaffected New Hampshireites are living. Recall that Dear Leader claims "thousands" of people were bused into New Hampshire to vote.

up
Voting closed 0

A handful of people voting in the wrong city because they've misrepresented their legal address - still just one vote, they're not voting in Boston *and* municipality-X.

Trump and others are alleging that people are casting multiple votes. They are not alleging that people are voting in the wrong jurisdiction.

And it's honestly the height of lunacy to suggest that someone *planned* to ferry up just enough voters to NH to edge out Trump, considering that everyone in the Clinton camp thought that NH was in the bag.

Time to build that wall between MA and NH. Should have been done decades ago. Also, a wall between VT, that pinko, hippy state and NH. "Live free or die", you know

.Now the only way to get to Maine will be via boat. "Undesirables" will be thrown overboard before docking so as to not spoil other people's vacation time. No planes - can't have people dropping things out the windows.

" In order to cast a vote [in New Hampshire], registered residents will either need to show a government-issued ID at the polls or agree to have their picture taken by poll workers—attached to a signed affidavit saying they are who they are."

Someone is obviously doing a BOOMING business in fake ID's. What a boost to the local economy.

up
Voting closed 0

But the ID you present at the polls only needs to "prove" that the picture/face and name match - NOT the address. I have a neighbor who presented her VT driver's license and was never denied a ballot. I myself had an outdated license w/an old address in a different town but was still allowed to vote where they knew I lived. (I did get lectured, though, by one kind old lady who was concerned that if I were killed in a car accident they would ship my remains to the old address.)

who doth protest too much....

He's just deflecting the fact that the Midwestern votes were stuffed, as well as the Russkie interference.

But the Donald actually mobilized his brown-shirts before the election to Look for them. I you recall he predicted there would be massive vote fraud and told his people to be on the lookout (and to harass brown people). Still nothing. At this point you can hold up the facts and clearly demonstrate that he's an old man who's lost his marbles, if he ever had them. The old, angry internet troll as president.

I have an employee who lives in NH but works in Boston. He wasn't sure he'd be able to vote on election day with his commute so he requested a absentee ballot.

He waits and waits but not ballot arrives. He calls the town and they say it's in the mail. Still nothing. Finally he has a chance to go to his city hall whereupon they manage to find his ballot after all. (They made some excuse as to why it didn't make it into the mail but admitted it was their fault.)

I want to know how many people have been disenfranchised and didn't get to vote when they should have. This is the real problem, not illegal voting.

In this day and age, voting in person is actually less secure than voting by mail or even possibly online. It's time to move out of the 18th century and find a better way to do this.

Incidentally, I was in the hospital on the day of the Democratic primary. As I had donated to the Sanders campaign and given them my phone number, I was contacted and reminded to go out and vote. Unfortunately, as I was connected by several tubes to lifesaving devices, I was unable to- and it is impossible to obtain an absentee ballot within a week of the election. Because, due to circumstances beyond my control, I was unable to walk into my designated poling place during a 8 hour period on a specific day, I was not allowed to vote in the primary.

The government wants to make it harder for us to vote. The government doesn't want the public to vote. It's in the damn Constitution (the Electoral college). The government isn't going to make it easier unless we demand it.

I can see where voting by mail would be an option to look into, but, given the state of the United States Postal Service, I would think that a lot of the votes would become lost in the mail. The Post office is notorious for losing important stuff, which is why I don't use the Post Office to send important stuff.

up

Before forming all these theories of how it wouldn't work.

Oregon has had vote by mail for a couple of decades now. They have ballot boxes at the post offices and county offices so that you don't have to put it through the mail.
