JD with a baseball bat wanted for going around smashing cars in one Cambridge neighborhood

Cambridge Police report they are looking for somebody who went around the Peabody neighborhood early Wednesday, smashing windows, lights and mirrors on cars in 14 different incidents.

The broken car parts were found on Avon, Bowdoin, Linnaean and Martin streets and Concord and Washington avenues, police say.

A teenage male was reportedly in the two hundred block of Concord Avenue kicking a soccer ball and striking poles, trees and other things with an aluminum bat at approximately 3:03 a.m. Shortly thereafter, at approximately 3:30 a.m., a second caller reported a male with shorts and a t-shirt banging a vehicle on Martin Street with what appeared to be a stick.

I think he means Juvenile Delinquent but my immediate reaction was that the bar exam was this week and it must have totally destroyed someone's mind.

But I'm not too too surprised to hear that they may cover batsmanship...

The real question is how to pronounce it. I grew up near there and went to the Peabody School there for nine years and everyone I knew pronounced it LIN-ee-in. But recently I have started to hear people (mostly non-natives) pronouncing it li-NAY-in.
