Barely four hours after two men were shot in Central Square, another man was stabbed, Cambridge Police report.

Police say a man in his 40s was stabbed at Magazine and Green street shortly before 3 p.m. His wounds were not considered life threatening, police say.

Ebony Agnew, 40, of Hyde Park, was arrested on a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, but no thanks to the victim, who refused to cooperate, police say.

Central Sq is such a crazy area. That's why people refer to it as Cuckoo square That area needs serious improvement

I work in Central. Yeah, it's got colorful characters. It's also got a really nice presence of Cambridge Police Officers. They all know each other, socialize a bit, and get along. When things get out of hand, the police don't crack heads, they keep the peace.

Look, I wish that there were fewer people who were mentally ill, addicted to drugs, or drunk at 10am. But, so long as people like this are in our society, I'd rather they hang out in Central Square where it's relatively safe for them (the occasional stabbing or shooting notwithstanding), and overwhelmingly safe for those of us who are not street people.
