Neighborhood shoveling resources

Blizzard of 2015

Shoveling snow is hard, but important, work. When a winter storm hits, it brings its share of challenges and opportunities with it. Perhaps, shoveling snow is just not your thing. Or you are physically unable to shovel. Maybe, you or your kids are looking to make a few extra bucks. Or quite simply, you are looking to pay it forward and want to lend a hand to your neighbors in need.

If you can relate to any of the above scenarios, then let your neighbors know on Nextdoor.

If you are not yet familiar with Nextdoor, Nextdoor is the private social network for neighborhoods used by neighbors in 125,000 US communities and over 1,600 in MA. In addition to snow shoveling help, neighbors can use Nextdoor to get recommendations for things like plumbers and babysitters, ask for help in finding a lost pet, and discuss safety and quality of life concerns.

In service,

Joseph Porcelli

Professional Neighbor at Nextdoor and former founder and organizer of NeighborsForNeighbor.org and #Snowcrew.
