Newton woods on fire again, for third time in three days

The Newton Fire Department reports a brush fire off Hammond Pond Parkway:

Response at 5:51 for a brush fire in the Webster Woods near Carlisle St. This is the third brush fire in 3 days. Now at second alarm.

Wellesley also has a brush fire.

The National Weather Service says we can expect "high fire danger" tomorrow due to warm temperatures, low humidity, high winds and dry brush.
