No injuries from Central Square gunfire overnight

Cambridge Police report they are investigating gunfire around 2:10 a.m. at Bishop Allen Drive and Norfolk Street. Officers recovered two shell casings, but did not find anybody hit.

I heard that gunfire from a block away
Sounded like three quick reports, .380 or 9mm semi-auto. I lay awake waiting on the sirens, but they must have run silent to try and catch the shooter unaware. Guess that didn't work out.
Irony is there was a three hour Gun Buyback program at Washington and Columbia the day before.
Healey loves the "Assault Rifle" headlines, but the real threat here is unlicensed, highly portable and virtually invisible handguns.
