Oleg Uritsky, a Quincy real-estate investor, is proposing a six-story, 45-unit residential building for Thorn Street, a small side street off River Street near the Hyde Park/Mattapan line.
Uritsky is proposing 15 studios, 15 one-bedroom units, 10 two-bedroom units and five three-bedroom units. He says he would provide 21 parking spaces in a garage.
The BPDA holds a neighborhood meeting on the proposal at 6 p.m. on July 30 at the Boston Preparatory school, 885 River St.

The development on this street consists of several four-story apartment buildings, an auto shop, and a strip mall at the corner with River Street. While the proposed building would be taller than what's there now, it seems generally in keeping with the character of the street.
