Father who is charged with murdering son in Dorchester is found and arrested in New York

Desmond Tahatdil, wanted for the stabbing murder of his son, Brendon in the apartment they shared on Hartford Street in Dorchester in March, 2017, was arrested today in Brooklyn, NY, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office and Boston Police report.

The elder Tahatdil could be returned to Boston to face arraignment for murder by next week, the DA's office says.

Authorities charge he repeatedly stabbed his son, 35, in an argument on June 6 of last year. He was indicted a year ago today.
