Man shot repeatedly with a pellet gun outside Cambridge library

Cambridge Police report a homeless man who was sleeping in front of the Central Square library, was awoken around 12:50 this morning by a man who shot him several times in the stomach and arm with a pellet gun.

The man's injuries are not considered life threatening, police say, adding officers recovered several pellets from in front of the library.

The suspect, described as black, in his early 20s and wearing all black clothing, ran down Pearl Street towards the Charles, police say.
