Woman charged with May murder of Mattapan man she knew

Boston Police report arresting Jocelyn Vasquez, 32, of Dorchester, on charges she shot Garfield Thomas to death on Evelyn Street in Mattapan on May 15.

Vasquez was arrested in Stoughton today and is scheduled for arraignment in Dorchester Municipal Court, police say.

In May, 2017, the two were arrested in West Bridgewater on charges of passing counterfeit $100 bills.

Innocent, etc.

So in 2017 she is caught with thousands of dollars in fake bills? Why was she not in jail? Federal offense? Where did the gun come from? Once again criminals are left to walk the streets, no accountability to judges. And the beat goes on.
