Wow. I don't know if that's more or less disturbing than her fantasy of busting in the teeth of the wife... even though she's at best second in the blame line.

Which raises the obvious question: Who would be to blame if Emily Rooney acted on her fantasy of busting in this woman's teeth?

So Ms. Rooney adopted this rule only after Charles Stuart killed himself? That would put her way behind lots of people who always doubted Stuart's story. Yes, there were plenty of people in the media, law enforcement, and in the general public who believed him right up until the end, but there were plenty of others who did not-- such as the DiMaiti family, and a number of police officers who thought things looked suspicious at the start. And the local African American community, who were set upon by law enforcement based on a preposterous lie.

Is it time now for an EmilyRooneyWatch.com?

I just stopped watching Greater Boston when her anti-blog rants began. She's become more and more irrelevant.

Greater Boston is one of the best shows on television. I don't see how Emily Rooney is "irrelevant".

I'm a fan of Greater Boston and Beat the Press, but I was pretty amazed when the consensus on last Friday's BTP was that the balloon boy story was definitely not a hoax, referencing the apparent anguish of the parents as evidence, saying basically, that no one could act that well. It was funny at the time, and even funnier in hindsight.
