Fourth man arrested for July murder on Homestead Street in Roxbury

Rashad Mezil, 27, of Mattapan, was arrested this morning on a first-degree murder charge for the shooting death of Christian Rivera at 76 Homestead St. in Roxbury on July 7, Boston Police and the Suffolk County District Attorney's office report.

Mezil's arrest comes after a Suffolk Country grand jury indicted him yesterday.

He joins Demetrius Bennett and Adnan Tahlil, both of whom have long criminal records, and Ira Harrison as defendants in the case.
