Man beaten with baseball bat in Chelsea

State Police report a man was beaten so seriously around 11:30 this morning in Mary O'Malley Park off Commandant's Way in Chelsea that his injuries are considered life threatening.
State Police divers searched the Mystic River and Chelsea Creek for evidence. WBZ reports police have recovered a baseball bat that may have been the one used in the attack.
