Will they inspect the other two Newton stations?
If the Newtonville stairs were in such bad shape, I hope they are also taking a look at West Newton and Auburndale.
Stairs
While we're on the subject of stairs, the stairs at Savin Hill have been in bad shape for a very long time. Rusting, loose, metal pieces sticking out from the stairs. The T should at least post a sign warning riders to get a tetanus shot before using the station.
West Newton has metal stairs
West Newton has a completely different type of stairs.
seems like a serious fire
seems like a serious fire hazard / emergency responder hazard... only 1 in/out now for the station?
