We may not know until Sunday when direct Braintree service through JFK/UMass will resume

The MBTA says repairs are continuing on the tracks and signal systems taken out in Tuesday's derailment but say they won't know until this weekend when they might be able to resume direct Braintree service.

The MBTA will provide a schedule update on Sunday regarding resumption of Braintree branch service resuming through JFK/UMass.

I managed to swing working from home for most of this shit storm, however had to go into the office today- I have never seen so many people waiting for trains coming up from the south shore at quite literally every stop. I'm not convinced I'll be able to make it home as I didn't bring enough weapons to fight my way on to a train. Godspeed you signal box repairers

Show them how it's done.", impeccable Mr. Carson sets out to save the day, fade to black...

Michelle We walks up a path to a house, asks the older man there (mostly off-camera or in shadows) for help, "We can't do this without you. Show them how it's done.", impeccable (but comfortably casual) Mike Dukakis sets out to save the day (carrying a reusable bag to pick up recyclables), fade to black....
