This is meaningless, the internet equivalent of verbal diarrhea. Sounds like you just have some pro-cop bone to pick instead of any actual point about the neighborhood or violence & gun crimes in Boston.

This meaningless?
Please don’t project your mental and social deficiencies...It’s Loud and Clear. Stop with the BS!
Know this: There are certain neighborhoods that police literally either won’t frequent or, shit their pants when they get their orders because of pressure from above.
Quotes I have heard over the years first hand from some of Boston’s finest:
“Let THEM kill one another for all I care.”
“You go in there without a gun? You’re crazy kid.”
Has anyone ever paid attention to how Boston is zoned? Racism is so deep here is almost unfathomable. We have NEVER been a red state or city...how can systemic racism be soooo prevalent on a Blue States time and dime?
Just cause you wake up in the morning don’t make you “woke.”
Boston is no different from other large cities

It's too bad that violence runs so deep in some criminals that even when their victim(s) do exactly as they're told to do by the criminal(s), the victim(s) of such criminals end up seriously injured or dead anyhow.
Sorry to hear about the young man's serious injuries. It doesn't sound like he has much of a chance. Without knowing the victim personally, my condolences and thoughts go to his friends, loved ones and co-workers during these dark and difficult times.
