Cambridge River Festival canceled

The Cambridge Arts Council has canceled this year's River Festival, which had been scheduled for June 6.

This year would have marked the festival's return to its traditional location along the river bank near Harvard Square, where it was last held in 2013. The most recent six festivals have instead been held in either Central Square or the East Cambridge and Canal Park riverfront.
