The Dorchester Reporter reports all its beds will be converted into use for caring for people with Covid-19. The emergency room, however, will remain open for all patients.

They are all on the upper floors away from inpatient and surgical floors, as well as any outpatient clinics and diagnostics areas. So they'll just keep all the Covid 19 stuff in the floors below them. They can use separate elevators too; god knows Carney has enough different elevators. Note, I used to work there.

I just saw the slides from a presentation about what worked to slow things down in Wuhan, and the most important part was isolating certain populations, each in separate housing. The first three categories were in dedicated housing (dorms or hotels taken over for the purpose). Only those severely ill and needing hospital-level care were in hospitals.

- healthcare workers
- those exposed to cases
- cases
- cases needing hospitalization
