Ron Newman this morning visited the Esplanade, which, in the Before Times, would have already been completely jammed with people awaiting the night's concert and fireworks.

I have pretty much zero interest in the Boston 4th of July thing given the crowds, bathroom situation, etc... but I feel bad for the people who seemed to really love it, that this had to be cancelled. Fingers crossed for next year but we'll see.
