The folks at the Boston City Archives wonder if you can ID any of these folks posing with Ray Flynn and Santa. See it larger.

Aunt Bee from Andy Griffith show?
The teenage girl next to her....
Just spent 1.5 years volunteering at an orphanage in Tanzania after quitting the rat race. I'm not kidding. She also went to a far better college than you. I guarantee it.
Your snarks are misery, not funny at all.
You constantly crap on native Bostonians like we are some type of zoo animal for you to gawk at and poke fun. Give it a rest.
Calm down, Deputy Fife.
Calm down, Deputy Fife.

I'm sorry, John, for living rent free

Your Are Not In My Head
You are a mouse down hiding under the stove sticking its snout out occasionally to see if there is something you can nibble on.

That's my condo!
I got 2
Santa and Flynn.
Ray is not a height-challenged person
That Santa stand-in must be Tom Heinsohn or Dave Cowens.
Young Matt Damon ?
Right in front of bespeckled Santa.
looks more like the other one
Actually could be Ben Affleck

Is that Whitey Bulger playing Santa?
Doubt it
Unless he is standing on one of his associate's shoulders.

Apparently there is no answer forthcoming. Sad.
Eastie Circa 1984
Lombardo's near Sumner Tunnel? East Boston Social Center? This is before carpet-bagging speculators took over, when the town was filled with good people who didn't have a lot of dough, but they were obviously pretty happy.
start with Boston Community Schools/Centers
+50% chance City youth workers shuttled these kids to the event... Boston Community Schools / Boston Community Centers.
While I don't recognize any of the adults (I worked for BCC but later, under Menino) but that's where I would start in terms of ID'ing... go to the oldest employee at one of the BCYF centers in Eastie and ask them.
Actually, the former ED of BCC is my FaceBook friend so let me see if she recognizes anyone.
And the answer is?
Is the City Archives open?
