How Maryland learned from our experience to import hundreds of thousands of coronavirus test kits

The Baltimore Sun details the steps Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan took to quietly acquire 500,000 Covid-19 test kits from South Korea without letting the feds know:

Hogan administration officials said they decided to keep the developing operation quiet after Massachusetts reported 3 million masks it ordered were impounded in March at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

Maryland, of course, doesn't have Robert Kraft with a red, white and blue jet plane, but it does have a first lady who was born in Korea and speaks fluent Korean.

I'm wondering what they plan on doing with all of these masks? (the fed that is).. give them to the connected? or how about just red states for kissing orange's behind? That would be a big burn to 'own the libs'. I swear he's setting us up to pit us against each other.. red vs blue. Just watch. Remember the civil war wasn't started to free the slaves, it was a states rights issue.

Today is 4/21 . Every day its something new. We have 196 days till the election. It's also not summer, not hot yet, just wait for people to get antsy and told they can't go to the beach or the lake to swim when its 101 with 90% humidity. (or even still, long lines to get in because they only allow oh so many people in at a time).

Its going to be one long hot summer.. and a long way to election. A lot can happen.

I think it would be interesting if someone could tag a shipment of PPE with a radio transmitter so we could see how many times each shipment is sold.

Apparently they're stealing equipment, giving it to well-connected private companies, and then selling it at exorbitant markups to the people they stole it from, or other higher bidders. Or diverting it to help Republican controlled states at the expense of states controlled by the Democrats. Not only does it shore up Trump's support but maybe he gets lucky and can flip some states by killing people who won't vote for him.

... because it wanted to expand the realm of slave territories -- and it had no real hope of doing this as long as it remained part of the Union. The abolitionists would not have been able to have any chance of ENDING slavery in existing slave states (protected as it was by the governmental structure set up by US Constitution) for 50 (maybe even 100) years.
