The Washington Post goes to the archives and finds old articles in both the Herald and the Beacon Hill Times that prove Alec Baldwin's wife grew up on Beacon Hill, Pinckney Street, to be exact, so, she can call herself a Bostonian and we were wrong to trust the Daily Mail, as one commenter cautioned us yesterday (she only went to school in Weston). Also, we can now return to never thinking/talking about her again.

That daily commute back and forth to Weston can be taxing mentally and physically.

I suspect those "fumes" are merely the ancient whiff of fame and fortune that may be inherited, earned, married into, or just grifted.

Book about him from Germany through Cali (where he murdered two people) to living in Beacon Hill claiming to be part of the Rockefeller family. Not sure why people were so ready to believe him - he'd pull a key (an actual key) out of his pocket claiming that it was the key to Rockefeller Center. ok. Amazing true story.

Growing up on Beacon Hill in the land of the Cabots and Lodges is dull matter for a biography when you're not on Mt Vernon St.

But in any case, there was an update after a Philadelphia judge struck down a demand from the Boston Cabots that he not allow a man named Kabotchnik to change his name to Cabot.

I love everything about this story. Maybe a statue of the Philadelphia judge could replace that cringeworthy “white savior and grateful semi-human” statue that just came down.

I'm intimately familiar with the place. She has a very privileged background. Lots of very wealthy foreign students. Remember one kid totalled his Porche. Mom and Dad back in Japan just gave him another one. Opus Dei held conferences there for the rich Spanish speaking students.
