Saia's Fruit Orchard used to be the place to go for fruit

The folks at the Boston City Archives wonder if you can place this scene. See it larger.

A more recent view. My first thought upon seeing the recent view was "What were they thinking putting that hideous vinyl siding over brick?", but upon closer inspection, it appears they put that hideous vinyl siding over hideous faux brick asphalt siding.

Thanks for playing, folks! Those of you who guessed Meridian St are correct. This was taking on Meridian St in Central Square. We don't have an exact date but it was taken during the administration of Mayor John Collins, so we're dating it between 1960 and 1968.
