Resident injured escaping from Mission Hill fire by jumping from second floor

Boston firefighters responded to 59 Pontiac St. on Mission Hill around 9:50 p.m.

The Boston Fire Department reports one resident was injured jumping to escape. A total of 12 residents and a puppy were displaced.

The department estimated damage at $750,000.
