Jamaica Plain News reports the neighborhood's first legal marijuana emporium opens March 13 in Hyde Square, where the bowling alley used to be.
Glad to see more spots opening -- NETA needs more competition and this one is no more than a 20 minute walk away. Prices have finally started dropping a tiny bit, and I hope to see that trend continue. Customers here pay insane amounts compared to the situation on the west coast.
Some people are thrilled to get yet another pot shop, while others would be ecstatic to get just a single Market Basket in the city.
I hope when all this covid stuff is finally over we can get Amsterdam style coffee shops here in Boston where I can go and read the paper, surf the internet, talk to my neighbors, and drink a coffee and smoke a joint like the Euros do. Please?
Like in much of Europe, let us stroll down the sidewalk with a drink in hand.
