Man charged as murderer for shooting on Hammond Street in Roxbury last fall

Boston Police report arresting a Dorchester man for a triple shooting on Hammond Street on Sept. 18 that left one victim, Dennis Mejia of Canton, dead.

Brandon Campbell, 28, was arrested today in South Boston on a charge of murder and two counts each of armed assault with intent to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, police say.

In April, police arrested Andy Febres, of Jamaica Plain, on a charge of being an accessory after the fact for murder for the shooting.
