Mister Jon took snaps of old cars rolling down South Street today as part of the ongoing filming for HBO's Julia Child bioseries.

Julia Child
not Julia Childs [sic]
Yep
You'd think I'd know that, sigh. Fixed.
Julia Child's? IDK
Side question, I think that's a 1960 Dodge Phoenix Custom Regal, was that ever a Boston cab company fleet vehicle? (not around then) I figured all were Checker Marathons in those days. Maybe this isn't Boston?
Possibly
a 1957 Chevy Bel Air.
Definitely not a Checker.
Not possible
I owned a few '57 Chevys, and that is most definitely not one. It is some kind of Chrysler product, and I bet Mr. Zip is right. There's another picture of that car here. Note the distinctive bent roof pillar.
A cab company in Chelsea
A cab company in Chelsea still had these checker cabs but in white still in operation up until throughout the 1980s
Those 57’ Chevy bel air’s
Those 57’ Chevy bel air’s were today’s full size Suv’s
Agreed
Independents drove all sorts of cars, but the fleets like Red Cab were Checkers and not painted yellow. Also didn't have rates painted on the outside.
Depends on where that scene takes place
It'd make sense if they're shooting scenes that don't take place in Boston in Boston to be more efficient. Although obviously taxis in France never looked like that, so it's not obvious what location they'd have in mind.

Aren't they also shooting
Aren't they also shooting Black Panther 2 around here? I heard Shuri got hurt recently
