Two-alarm fire heavily damages building under construction on Washington Street in Dorchester

The Boston Fire Department reports firefighters responded to 1063 Washington St. in Dorchester shortly before 6 p.m. for what turned into a two-alarm fire.

The building was under construction and there were no injuries, the department reports. The cause is under investigation.
