Two Irish pubs are gone for good

Boston Restaurant Talk reports the owners of the Kinsale in Government Center and the Asgard in Cambridge have announced the pubs are not coming back, after they shut them at the start of the pandemic, then said they were looking at re-opening them.

Was Asgard really an "Irish pub"? It always felt more like an Irish-flavored hotel/conference bar to me.

Something about both places always felt a wee bit too corporate or Disneyish. I mean they were just fine, but I guess better them than the Burren, the Bebop, or the Brendan Behan.
