New Urban League headquarters with affordable housing on top proposed for Nubian Square

Developers say they will soon file plans to replace the Urban League's current two-story building where Warren Street turns into Harrison Avenue into a six-story building with 65 apartments and condos - and room for a new Urban League headquarters.

All but four of the residential units will be rented or sold to families making between 30% and 100% of the Boston area median income according to a letter of intent filed with the BPDA this week by the non-profit Madison Park Development Corp. and Origin Property Group.

The plans call for 24 parking spaces.
