Fire erupts in restaurant block on Brighton Avenue in Allston

Boston firefighters responded to 184 Brighton Ave., for a fire reported around 9:20 p.m. that quickly went to three alarms.

Sean Olson reports the fire started in the kitchen of Thai Place and spread up to the roof and to a neighboring noodle place on one side and a phone store on the other.

The fire was declared knocked down shortly after 9:45 p.m., although firefighters remained on scene to cut holes in the roof and walls to make sure there was no fire hiding there.
