The Dorchester Reporter takes a look at the race for the 6th Suffolk state rep's seat, which covers parts of Dorchester, Hyde Park, Jamaica Plain, Mattapan, and Roslindale and which pits incumbent Russell Holmes against challenger Haris Hardaway in the Democratic primary, which will determine who goes up to Beacon Hill in January.

If I remember correctly his sister was brutally beaten by Transit Police at Nubian square and she successfully sued the MBTA for false arrest.
