No more bedtime magic on the radio

WMJX reports that David Allan Boucher, who has hosted Bedtime Magic since the station first went on the air 40 years ago, is retiring.

For someone to have a radio show that basically kept the exact same format for 40 years is almost unheard of. I don't listen to that often, but when I do, it's a comforting presence.

(Actually on topic, I once aspired to the kind of career that David Allan Boucher achieved, but guessed that an incredibly fun college-radio stint as a punk-rock DJ back when the genre was new probably wouldn't lead to a job that would pay my rent. Well done, man!)
