Boston Police report seizing "approximately 50 dirt bikes and other all-terrain vehicles" at Roslindale Self Storage, 44 Lochdale Rd. on Friday.
The Attleboro Sun-Chronicle reports investigators were led to the dead-end storage place as part of an investigation into a burglary at a motor-bike shop in Seekonk on Feb. 2. Some guys smashed in the front windows of the shop, then stole a number of dirt bikes, all valued at around $10,000 each.
Boston Police say their investigation is continuing.

A well run unit who cares about quality of life issues that plague the ignored parts of the city.
Nice work

although I think they would look better carefully arranged on a cardboard box, with the bullets removed and laid out next to them.
Err. The gas. The gas poured out into bottles, I guess.
Speaking of gas, I wonder if that's what hazmat was doing there.

This storage warehouse is across the street from the City of Boston Animal Shelter.
These bozos ride up and down the street stressing out the animals for hours. When not making as much noise as possible, they’re making sure our sidewalk is decorated with as much broken glass as possible.
Good riddance.

Is it illegal to store motor vehicles in storage places?
Seems like it would be a hazard.
What?

Point of information then asks a question…
That's how that works

Though in Robert's 11th ed. it was renamed "request for information" but yes, a POI is phrased as a question, whether or not it's really a question.

They're always finding those, Jetskis and even entire motor vehicles on the cable show "Storage Wars".
Not evidence

That show is entirely fictional.
Idle speculation...

The motorized vehicle is fine.
The fluids associated, perhaps not so much.
I would also speculate -- with no evidence -- that those vehicles seized by BPD had gasoline in them.

They typically restrict against storing flammable liquids, even if still in a vehicle. Unless the storage is rated for vehicles.
