Second Union Street bar worker indicted in connection with man's stabbing death outside; charged with helping the murder suspect escape

A worker at the Sons of Boston bar on Union Street was indicted last week on a charge of accessory after the fact to murder in connection with the stabbing death of a man outside the bar on March 19.

Alisha Dumeer, 34, of Everett, will be arraigned in Suffolk Superior Court on June 30, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

The DA's office declined to say today how Dumeer allegedly helped bouncer Alvaro Larrama, charged with Daniel Martinez's murder. At a Boston Licensing Board hearing in April, police said that after Larrama fatally stabbed Martinez outside the bar and he ran back inside the bar, another worker helped him flee before police arrived by getting him a change of clothes. Larrama turned himself in two days later.

Separately, Larrama is scheduled for arraignment today on new charges related to a separate incident, an alleged assault on a patron of the adjacent White Bull Tavern on March 6, the DA's office reports.

Innocent, etc.
