Nothing against Boba tea

But I miss the trend of MYO FroYo places that were in style ~10 years ago.

They used to be everywhere but not many remain.

I sometimes get a hankering for FroYo at odd times of the year. I get my fix at JP Licks, but it seems like I should be trying 1) FroYo World in Allston, and 2) BerryLine, in Harvard Square?

And what about soft serve generally? I recall liking the "Japanese soft serve" at Jaho (what makes it Japanese? I never found out...)

But there is a froyo place (that I think also serves bubble tea) on Washington Street in Roslindale Square - in the same block as Dragon Chef and Bob's Pita.
