Do a piece on the disrespectful kids that toss all of their trash from Dunks and the corner market on Parker Street as they walk to Fenway High in the morning. Then interview folks that live near the school that have tried to speak to these kids about this only to be told to eff off by them or even threatened.

are you truly surprised that a bunch of fifteen-year-olds laughed at you when you told them not to litter. this is what teenagers do.

Most of the students at Fenway High are very respectful and come and go peacefully. Others are beyond rude and disrecptpful to those that reside in this neighborhood.

It goes well beyond laughing at some adult for asking them not to litter. These kids threaten you life for asking them to be a good person. The school take zero responsibility for what happens in the area while their students are coming and going.

Okay but this is about congratulating a specific young man on an exciting opportunity. This hijacking is inappropriate and misplaced.

Congratulations again, Oliver!

How about all of the disrespectful adults that do the same thing?

Oliver writes a story about all the local college students that use the front of his school as a dumping ground for their beer cans, solo cups, and trash?

I've often wondered how Adam does everything he does on this site, so I'm super glad to see he's got some extra hands. And Adam, does this mean you'll get some summer vacation time?

Sorry, initially I used the YouTube sharing link, but Adam's Drupal extension to let you embed YouTube videos needs the old-school "watch" URL instead.

* Don't use no double negatives.
* Make each pronoun agree with their antecedent.
* Join clauses good, like a conjunction should.
* About them sentence fragments.
* When dangling watch your participles.
* Verbs has to agree with their subjects.
* Just between you and I, case is important too.
* Don't write no run-on sentences they are hard to read.
* Don't use commas, which aren't necessary.
* Try to not split infinitives.
* It is important to use apostrophe's correctly.
* Proofread your writing to if any words out.
* Correct spelling is esential.
* It's is not, it isn't ain't, and it's it's, not its, if you mean it is. If you don't, it's its. Then too it's hers: it isn't her's. It isn't our's either: it's ours, and likewise yours and theirs.
* As a general rule of thumb, cross out every word you have written. You have no idea what vigor it will give your style.

H/T to Brit wit Gyles Brandreth.
