Near Roxbury Crossing/Fort Hill?

My son just moved to that area and the block of older houses ending in a brick building looks rather familiar.

I don't think it is his street but one nearby. Seems to be in one of the older city areas with streets feeding into squares.

This is Reeds Court in Roxbury. The picture taken around late 1930 to 1940. The street was taken when Orchard Park development was put in.
My mother's family lived there and the children in picture are her and her siblings playing. The large brick building in the left hand corner at the end of the picture is the old Dearborn School, that is still there.

Back when I was a kid in the 60's there was one wooden building left there that always reminded me of a blacksmiths shop. Mostly brick buildings had replaced everything else and ITOA had a paintshop at the point of the triangle.
