Rick Hoyt dies, 61

Steve Burton reports that Rick Hoyt, who became famous as an annual Marathon participant pushed by his father, died in his sleep this morning at age 61. Dick Hoyt died in 2021.

The man's persistence was incredible. He managed to have a life that his amazing parents could not have imagined him having when he was born at a time when kids like him were dumped into institutions, even as they cleared the way for him and people like him to get a full education, have a career, travel, and enjoy a full life.
