West Roxbury taco place cleared to re-open

A Boston health inspector today gave Los Amigos, 1741 Centre St. in West Roxbury, permission to re-open after an inspection found no problems.

The city ordered the take-out place shut on May 19 after an inspection found a variety of health problems.

That inspection came the day after an inspector shut the Los Amigos in Brighton Center partly for its own set of health problems, in particular, a salmonella outbreak among people who had eaten there - some of whom are now suing.

The West Roxbury Los Amigos was not linked to that outbreak, which has kept the Brighton outlet shut.
