He exists soley to "explain" what Trump was "really" doing/saying whenever he is toxic and disrespectful. Because he speaks for all veterans, having spent his deployment in a PR office.
That's when he's not running his creepy little mouth about what sort of livestock role particular kinds of women are "natural" for. "Natural" meaning "should be forced into".
Meanwhile, Trump is treating him like he treated his wives.

One great thing about this year
A year or so ago, it was sort of thought that the post-Trump Republican Party would coalesce around either JD Vance or Ron DeSantis - both having the stereotypical awful Republican views but without the baggage of being, you know, Donald Trump.
Now a year later, DeSantis has gone down in flames and Vance is doing the same, and since it's clear Donald Trump will just be running for President forever until the Lord does us a favor, the post-Trump Republican Party's future looks...pretty grim.
Keep putting yourself out there, JD, it's going great.

JD Vance got seven words into his speech and was met with a barrage of boos. Now I absolutely know why Republican candidates running for Presidential offices don't usually come to Boston.
