The Orange Line died when a wire fried

A smoking electrical wire at Chinatown this afternoon forced the shutdown of the Orange Line - which the T had been promoting as a downtown alternative for the Green Line, which is shut for repairs.

Boston firefighters arrived at the station's outbound side around 4:30 p.m. to find smoke coming from the area between the outbound and inbound tracks. The T shut off the third rail on both sides so firefighters could safely get on the tracks with some extinguishers to put out the smouldering fire. T

he T reported at 5:27 p.m. it had restored service between North Station and Massachusetts Avenue.

Why isn't this shit prevented with skills? Can we see the last inspection report? Filming the work being done with our money is part of our documentary on the MBTA corruption.

You don't correct 50 or 60 years of neglect and corruption in one night, or even one year.

Maybe you haven't gotten to the part of kindergarten yet where the teacher goes over this, but Sunday evening does in fact come before Monday.
