Scott Brown swears to "support and defend the Constitution" thereby Senator Scott Brown
By Anonymous on Thu, 02/04/2010 - 7:18pm
At the beginning of a new term of office, senators-elect take their oath of office from the presiding officer in an open session of the Senate before they can begin to perform their legislative activities. From the earliest days, the senator-elect—both the freshman and the
returning veteran—has been escorted down the aisle by another senator to take the oath from the presiding officer. Customarily, the other senator from the senator-elect's state performs that ritual.

This is the fake swearing in for the cameras
I don't know why they do two. Why not do just one with cameras?
Any one know if Scott was "independent" and voted to consent to Obama's nominees or did he vote 'nea' and and put a lie to his pledge to be independent (...you know, not vote lock step with the party of do-nothing-except-obstruct.)
