And now the rest of the story: Mitt vs. the rapper

Guy who's supposedly a rap star (Ed. note: What the hell do I know?) reveals he was the guy in the tete-a-Mitt on that plane, and says Romney grabbed him first.

I knew the story Mitt's PR flack didn't make sense. Why would the guy breaking the rules be outraged?

It was Mitt who lost his temper and assaulted the guy sitting in front of his wife when he didn;t obey Mitt's instructions. Plus, all this all happened on the tarmac so Mitt doesn't even have the excuse of getting the guy to comply with the law:he's allowed to put his seat back on the tarmac. It's only during take-off and landing that one's seat back must be up.

It all went down shortly after the two parties boarded a flight from Vancouver to Los Angeles on Monday.

According to a video confessional from LMFAO's Sky Blu, it all started when he leaned his seat back while the plane was still on the tarmac ... and Romney, who was sitting behind him, started yelling at him to put his seat back up.

Sky Blu claims Romney then reached forward and grabbed his shoulder ... so he slapped the Presidential wannabeen's hand away. Shortly after, authorities boarded the plane and escorted Sky Blu off the flight ... and the other member of LMFAO got it all on tape.

On Tuesday, Romney's spokesperson said Sky Blu became "physically violent" when asked to put his seat up ... but the spokesperson never mentioned whether or not Romney puts his hands on him.

Sky (a Democrat) says it was an "unfortunate situation" and he's sure Mitt (a Republican) is a "nice guy" ... but not someone he'd vote for.

...the other member of LMFAO got it all on tape

and reports SkyBlu of rap group LMFAO tried to hit Romney even while later acknowledging SkyBlu says the Romney was the one who got physical.

...but those people who lean back are really irritating.

I don't have much use for Mittens, but I'm not going to go and buy the other guy's story just because he's an upstanding young rapper man and couldn't be making as much crap up as Romney, now could he?

How many people on the plane witnessed this? A lot, I'd bet. We'll see how that checks out, shall we?

Nobody except maybe the 2 rows the guys were sitting in would have seen anything. Further, given how muffled sound is in plane cabins because of the seats, and the engine noise even during taxiing...it's quite possible nobody beyond a few rows in either direction would have even heard Romney raise his voice.

I'm not going to go and buy the other guy's story just because he's an upstanding young rapper man and couldn't be making as much crap up as Romney, now could he?

So whydid you buy Romney's story? Just because he's a rich politician?

1)The rapper's account is perfectly in line with Romney's reputation as a Rich Douchebag with a massive temper, happy to lie about his "incidents" (when they're not caught on camera in front of a dozen members of the national press core.) 2)The rapper's friend says the whole thing is on tape (though why it hasn't been released is curious, but still, it's a big, ballsy lie if it is, in fact, a lie.)

The only reason you're trusting Romney's account is because his side came out first, thanks to his spokesman and the newspaper articles which essentially printed everything the spokesman said...without any corroboration from witnesses, the police, or the airline.

They actually interviewed people who were on the plane. I didn't "buy" Romney's story - I bought their story.

I can't see a Canadian flight crew being terribly inclined to kowtow to Romney - or anybody "important" - for that matter, either. "Do you know who I am" is pretty much a capital crime in the Canadian West.

I couldn't find the story on CBC. Do you have a link so I can read it?

Did anyone see Mitt put his hand on the guy's shoulder? Was he speaking in anger or making a polite request?

I find it hard to believe the much older Romney would do anything that could be seen as aggressive in relation to a much younger guy who by the looks of the video he shot was most likely not sitting their in a polo shirt and khakis.

Normally I would not defend Romney but in this situation the guy is most likely telling the truth. Either that or he is a moron picking a fight with someone who could beat the tar out of him.

I can picture someone like Mitt Romney laying his hand on another guys shoulder in a (intending to be) non-threatening way. He seems like he could be one of those hand-on-your-shoulder-to-talk types. (I used to have a boss like that, and it really creeped me out. My boss looked a bit like Romney too.)

I can picture someone not expecting a hand on his shoulder to take that the wrong way.

a 60-something guy, traveling with his wife, afflicted with MS, not wanting to kow-tow to a young snot used to jumping lines because he's related to Berry Gordy. (Funny how Mitt's money is being discussed but not young Grandmaster Selfabsorbed. The Gordy family could buy and sell Romney but that doesn't fit the narrative now, does it?)

You'd think he'd be in first class or on a private jet. He certainly can afford it.

Also, I think this version of the story plays to his Presidential ambitions better. Meekly doing nothing but wagging a finger seems too wimpy for red-meat Republicans.

Not all flights have multiple class seating.

...it wasn't a domestic flight, YVR-LAX. Vancouver is in Canada and Los Angeles is in the US.

It was a regional plane. Single cabin seating.

Yeah, I know I'm going with "Sky Blue"'s version of events; Romney applied the Mormon Death Grip.

Romney's hands are probably pretty strong...what with all the jerking us around for 4 years that he did.

LMFAO rapper Sky Blu said Mitt Romney used a "Vulcan grip" on him in a scuffle on board an airplane departing from Vancouver Monday evening. Cops, according to Blu, only believed Romney's version of the story and Blu was kicked off the airplane.
