Ehhh . . .
. . . I grew up in a house built in 1836 and kept in the same family for 100 years along with half the other houses for a block in either direction- that had a cellar with walls of round stone like in a dungeon- and it had settling sounds all the time. Never saw a ghost, felt a ghost, or heard anything ghostly. I know people who say they have- and I have no problem with that. I just have never had any sort of ghost experience myself.
