Cell-snatching scooter stealer stalks school

The Daily Free Press reports BU this semester has been plagued by a guy on a moped who putters up to people talking on their phone by the curb, snatches their phones, then speeds away. The latest theft was Sunday night in front of Marsh Plaza on Comm. Ave.

When robberies or muggings happen on a campus like BU or Northeastern does the college carry the crime stat or does BPD. If BPD doesn't carry the crime stats on colleges the MBTA or state property it is no wonder the Mayor can say crime is down. If you add up all the crime stats together in Boston the city would be forced to tackle the crime increase.
