You'd have to be nuts to pass up a slice from one of Allston's many fine pizza places

Brad Searles noticed this little guy chowing down on some of Allston's finest the other day.

So that's a zombie squirrel eating the brains of a police officer who was in the wrong place, at the wrong time!

Correct me if I'm wrong. Is that so called herbivore squirrel chowing down on a slice of a meat lover's pie?

1) adaptation: urban street squirrels aren't choosy about where they get their calories, especially in winter;

2) it's actually a chunk of gourmet vegan pizza from Peace o' Pie. The "sausage" and "pepperoni" are actually textured soy protein and seitan, and the "cheese" is made from tapioca and arrowroot flours.

Mighy(sic) oaks mighty stingy with acorns this year.

I've seen squirrels in the Spring feasting on winter moth caterpillars in the trees out back a few times. I wish more of them would pick up that habit.

Lil guy is just reversing the Atkins diet. Macking on some crust and discarding the toppings.
