Once upon a time, my husband lived in a building alongside some of those steps. His bedroom window over looked a set. Every morning, some school kids would traipse by. In the warmer months, they older ones would even be so cheeky as to push the screen up so they could move the blinds aside.

No wonder private property owners don't seem to maintain them.

Amazing work, Ron!

A long time ago I had a first floor bedroom window overlooking the "Magnus Ave - Dimick St 'gate'" It was unnerving to have people walking through the back yard. We made half-assed attempts to repair the fence on Dimick but the passers-through would always reopen it in acts approaching vandalism and almost certainly including trespassing. You can't stop people taking shortcuts. In a few thousand years, it'll be like the Grand Canyon there.

This brings back memories for me, too - I lived near Davis in the late 90s and my roommates and I would take what I think is the Clifton Path to get to and from the T station.

which proved very convenient when I lived on Corey Hill.

Nooooo! My "three-hill-run" route revealed!! Whatever will I do with all of the rabble now crowding me?!

(Actually, there is little chance of crowding - this is one hell of a run. Truthfully, I haven't done it in some time, as I've switched to the bicycle route equivalent)
